Introduction About Our School
St. Don Bosco College is an unaided English Medium college. It is Christian Minority Institution (F.No. 1442 of 2006-16441) established and administered by the Catholic Diocese of Lucknow, a Registered Religious and Charitable society engaged in Education, Medical and Social work in the ten districts of Uttar Pradesh and is registered under the Registration of Societies Act. No XXI of 1960.
The College was founded in 1979 with the object of imparting modern education to catholic students in a manner that will conserve their "religion and culture," but admission is not denied to students professing other faiths.
This institution admits both boys and girls. It is a co-educational institution Where boys and girls grow up together in a healthy atmosphere of equality and mutual respect. The College aims at the integral and personal formation of young boys and girls by giving them an education which is morally, physically and mentally sound. In keeping with the national aspiration, It helps students to become mature, spiritually oriented men and women of character and worthy citizens of India.
It strives to inculcate in its pupils the value of freedom and its judicious use, respect for law and order and a sense of duty so as to enable them to fulfill a noble role in life. The College is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, and it conducts classes from Nursery to XII.
Besides catering to the academic needs of the students, the college attaches great importance to Physical Training, Sports and Games, competitions and other co/extra curricular activities for children to develop and display their talents.
